My son and I take the most interesting trips together. We went to Death Valley last year to do 聖地巡礼 (make a pilgrimmage to the Holy Land, visiting Star Wars locations), then decided it’d be fun to find Area 51 and visit, just for the lulz. Here’s us at the “secret” back gate. Now we’re planning a trip to Hokkaido via a sleeping car train, and after that we’ll come down through Touhoku staying at a couple of onsens and spending money, since I’m sure they can use the tourist dollars.
